12 - 19 - 2013 Winter conditions cause accidents in Juniata Co.
Lewistown State Police reported at least 2 motorists overturned their vehicles due to driving too fast for the wintry conditions that occurred over the past week. Last Friday, a northbound vehicle that an Enola man was driving struck an embankment & flipped on Rt. 75, Tuscarora Twp., when he lost control on the road surface. Also, 62-y/o Bettie Swartz of Mifflintown was not injured when her westbound vehicle crossed the opposing lane on Tuesday as she was traveling in Walker Twp. & rolled over after striking an embankment along SR 2009. Both motorists were wearing seat restraints when the accidents occurred.
