01 - 02 - 2014 Police arrest 2 Snyder Co. residents after fighting police
[DI] - A pair of Mount Pleasant Mills residents were arrested and jailed early Wednesday after a report of an assault in Middleburg. Mifflinburg Borough Police said they arrived at the Pine St. residence and determined that Kenneth Lowery had kicked Marisa Liddington, his girlfriend, in the face injuring her mouth and jaw. After Liddington was kicked, another man stepped in and struck Lowery in the face and knocked him unconscious. When Lowery became conscious, he was taken to the Middleburg police department for questioning and thatâs where he became aggressive and began to resist arrest. Police restrained Lowery, but he continued to fight, damaging a wall at the police station and was charged with criminal mischief as well as aggravated assault, simple assault, endangering another person, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
