01 - 21 - 2014 Another round of snow to impact the Juniata Valley today
[DI] - As a new snowstorm dumps up to a foot of snow on parts of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey tomorrow, the Central PA could slip through with 1 to 3 inches. This latest storm tracking to our south comes courtesy of yet another Alberta Clipper set to drop through the Dakotas and Ohio Valley, according to regional meteorologists. The snow will become heavier as it streaks across the mid-Atlantic on Tuesday, then makes a northeastward turn toward southern New England late in the day and evening. Forecasters are predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow across our area today. Travel conditions will deteriorate with slippery roads and flight delays expected to unfold across the Mid-Atlantic region. Some schools have already closed in anticipation to the storm.
