02 - 04 - 2014 Man arrested for buying cars with bad checks, assault
A local man has been jailed after police found he had bought 3 vehicles from Family Auto on a closed bank account. Bail was set at $70,000 for 39-y/o Fred Lee Rickabaugh & he was charged with theft by deception when he bought the vehicles, valued at over $5,000, from the dealership on Jan. 31. Police also uncoverd a female acquaintance that was assulted & threatened by Rickabaugh while she lived with him at a Valley St. residence. He was also charged with bad checks, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, & simple assault. He is incarcerated in the Mifflin Co. Correctional Facility
