02 - 12 - 2014 Yeagertown man charged in Jan. pharmacy robbery
Lewistown Borough Police have made an arrest in connection with last month's Lewistown Pharmacy robbery. Bail was set for $100,000 for 31-y/o Shane Billheimer of Yeagertown after he was arrested on charges of robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, theft of property from the motor vehicle, & probation violations. An investigation by the Lewistown Police, MCRP, State Police, State Parole, & the Mifflin Co. DA's Office found that it was Billheimer who used a note to demand Xanax from the pharmacy. He also grabbed a store employee & acted as if he had a weapon. He was given a non-controlled dangerous substance & then fled before he stole a vehicle a short distance away. Billheimer was eventually tracked down in a garage on North Mann Ave. & taken into custody.
