02 - 14 - 2014 Tea Creek Bridge replacement starts Monday in Reedsville
Starting next Monday, crews begin the first phase of work to replace the Tea Creek Bridge on Main Street at the western end of Reedsville,Brown Twp. Motorists will encounter lane closures in the area, with an alternating traffic pattern controlled by flaggers. As weather allows, crews will build a 2-way, temporary roadway that will be used to move traffic around the work zone. Pedestrian access walkways will also be constructed. Once the bridge is replaced, PennDOT will be able to remove it from the list of structurally deficient bridges in Mifflin Co. Work is expected to last until early November.
