03 - 27 - 2014 Midd-West School Board member quits, supporting Knepp
[DI] - In a scathing letter, recently elected Midd-West school board member Scott Norman announced he has resigned his seat while accusing a few directors of engaging in “dirty tactics and politics” and calling for an investigation into the leak of the notice of charges against former Superintendent Wesley Knapp. He wrote in an email released Tuesday night, “I can no longer work with a board that has as its chief agenda the ruination of an outstanding superintendent and then a coverup of their own failure of leadership,” calling his time on the board a "waste of time". Board President Victor Abate denied Norman’s claims in a 3-page response.
