03 - 28 - 2014 Boalburg branch of FNB robbed yesterday afternoon
[CDT] - Yesterday afternoon, a man, described as heavy set, robbed the First National Bank branch in Boalsburg, getting away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. State College police responded to the robbery after the call came in around 2:22pm. Police say the suspect is described as being white, about 6 feet tall and wearing dark pants and a brown sweatshirt with the hood up. The suspect entered the bank from East Main Street, his face covered with mesh-type clothing, and did not brandish a weapon. He also had both a white and dark-colored bag with him. The man was last seen headed north toward the area of East Main Street and Boal Avenue. As of last night, the suspect was still at large.
