04 - 02 - 2014 Tea Creek Bridge work starts tomorrow--to be traffic detoured
Tomorrow, weather permitting, a traffic change will take place as work to replace the Tea Creek Bridge on Main Street in Reedsville moves into a new phase. By the end of the day PennDOT expects the temporary bridge and roadway to be in use on the project. During this phase, drivers should remain alert for flaggers in the roadway. The temporary road and bridge, located just upstream of the current bridge, will allow PennDOT to maintain two-way traffic for the remainder of the project. A pedestrian walkway for the temporary bridge will be constructed over the next couple of weeks. Work is expected to last until early November for this $1.5 million job.
