[WTAJ] - A 45-y/o football coach & teacher at Juniata Valley High School in Huntingdon County was placed on leave until further notice over a rather "explosive" incident in his classroom. Michael Smith is facing charges after allegedly pushing a 16-y/o student against the wall and damaged a thermostat worth $212.50. The victim is said to have suffered soreness in his left shoulder. The reason, according to police, was that the student farted during Smithâs class shortly after 8 a.m. on March 25th. Charges of Harassment and Criminal Mischief are pending.
