04 - 21 - 2014 Union Co. teens face charges of theft to fund drug run
[DI] - Some area teenagers are under investigation for allegedly stealing debit cards and roughly $10,000 in jewelry from 3 parked vehicles in Union Co. earlier this month to fund a trip to NY to buy drugs. On Sunday, Milton State police reported that charges are pending against an 18-y/o from Milton, an 18-y/o from Mifflinburg and a 16-y/o from Lewisburg. According to police, the thefts occurred April 10-13. The victims are 35-y/o Arthur Morris and 40-y/o Danielle Wood, both of New Berlin, who reported debit-credit cards stolen from their vehicles. A third victim, 63-y/oe Barbara Ross, of Winfield, reported her debit-credit card and about $10,000 worth of jewelry taken from her vehicle.
